Since 2012, San Francisco parents have fallen in love with Tantrum for paying attention to all the right details: the world’s best toy brands, free gift wrap with hand-stamped gift tags and even a remarkable, tiny Italian truck offering same-day toy delivery in the city. We connected in 2024 when they wanted to grow their online business, translating their in-store magic to the digital world. We’ll quote directly from the marketing plan:

“With two healthy storefronts and lucrative sales, it’s time to lean into the brand’s yet-untapped opportunities: A website that competes nationally, a marketing plan & calendar with strategy, a social media feed that engages, email marketing that converts, a digital audience growth plan, plus a brand design update that keeps Tantrum fresh and ahead of the curve.” In this case, we were developing strategy and systems that would equip the Tantrum team to maintain the plan themselves.

With a brand update by Rachael Gibilterra that feels natural to its roots, a bold and impactful site that’s intuitive without being expected, and a megaphone behind the brand’s most notable value props, our new site takes the store from hidden gem to national treasure. We launched it with an email-growth giveaway featuring prizing from the store’s top brands, earning almost 4,000 new subscribers off the bat.
